AbiliKids offers occupational, physical and speech therapy services to children birth to 21 years of age with a variety of congenital, developmental, and cognitive disabilities. These conditions include, but are not limited to torticollis, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, Down syndrome, Rett Syndrome, autism spectrum disorders, hydrocephalus, congenital orthopedic conditions, brachial plexus injuries, muscular dystrophy, traumatic brain injuries, gross motor delays, fine motor delays, language and communication disorders, feeding and swallowing issues, dyspraxia, vestibular disorders, and sensory integration disorders.
The therapists at AbiliKids provide initial evaluations for each new client in order to determine their specialized needs. Following the evaluation, a treatment plan is developed for each child. This plan may include ongoing treatment sessions, monitoring services, home exercise programs or adaptive equipment acquisition. Our therapists work closely with each child’s family, medical providers and educational providers in order to provide a comprehensive treatment plan.
